A five-star all-inclusive island that keeps children busy and still gives couples their own adults-only corner of the island.

About the resort

OBLU SELECT Sangeli

Sangeli solves the family-versus-romance problem. It is a generous all-inclusive resort where children have clubs, shallow easy water and a long list of daily activities, while the separate Serenity section keeps an adults-only pool, bar and restaurant for the grown-ups. Villas range from beach bungalows to overwater villas with private pools, and the all-inclusive package covers dining across several restaurants and bars. A house reef, dive centre and watersports fill the days. Our pick for families who still want a proper five-star Maldives island.

Why we recommend it

One island, two moods — an all-inclusive family resort with its own adults-only Serenity wing, pool and restaurant.
